Animated Introduction to Saint Joseph Museums for Young Students
Below details the work completed as a volunteer with Saint Joseph Museums in creating an animated short to introduce young students to topics such as the history of mental health treatment, the environmental history of Missouri and the history of prominent figures in Saint Joseph.
Storyboard Animatic

Character Design
One of the first steps in this animated project is deciding what the characters should like; creating characters who are visually distinct and representative of real students who can see themselves in the characters depicted below.
Backgrounds
The first step in the production portion of the animation process was painting the short's backgrounds, which were drawn referencing real photos taken of the interiors and exterior of Saint Joseph Museums.
